Appointments

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can request an appointment through our website or contact us by email at info@restoredrecoverync.com. We'll guide you through the next steps and answer any questions you may have.

What happens during my first appointment?

Your initial evaluation includes a comprehensive review of your medical history, behavioral health history, current medications, treatment goals, and any previous care you've received. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan.

How long are appointments?

Initial evaluations are typically longer than follow-up visits to allow time for a thorough assessment and treatment planning.

Treatment

Do you prescribe medication?

Medication may be recommended when clinically appropriate as part of a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan. Treatment decisions are based on your medical history, current needs, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.

What medications do you prescribe?

Medication recommendations are individualized and based on your medical history, current symptoms, treatment goals, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.

For individuals receiving treatment for opioid use disorder, we primarily prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone® or equivalent) when clinically appropriate. Buprenorphine monoproduct (Subutex® or equivalent) is reserved for specific medical indications or circumstances and is not our general practice.

In keeping with our commitment to safe, evidence-based care, benzodiazepines and chronic stimulant medications are generally not initiated as part of treatment. If you are currently prescribed these medications, we will review your history together, discuss your individual needs, and determine the most appropriate treatment plan. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care while prioritizing patient safety and long-term wellness.

Will you continue medications prescribed by another provider?

If you are transferring care from another provider, we will complete a comprehensive evaluation before making any treatment recommendations. Continuing existing medications depends on your individual clinical circumstances, available medical records, and whether the treatment aligns with current evidence-based practice and our practice philosophy.

Do I have to participate in therapy?

Therapy and recovery supports are strongly encouraged because they play an important role in long-term recovery. Recommendations will be individualized based on your needs.

Will I need urine drug screens or laboratory testing?

At intake, and when clinically appropriate, urine drug screening and/or laboratory testing may be required as part of safe, evidence-based care.
